Hello to the Indian community!
My name is Renae and I am a first generation Indian born to parents from Delhi, India. My parents came to the US over 30 years ago and have tried to give me and my siblings the best possible life while sacrificing their own needs. I know this is a story that is so common to Indians because of the hard work ethic and dedication to family.
In order to give back to the Indian community, I am running for public office (City Council) here in my city of Federal Way, WA this year. This will be the very first time in history that an Indian is running in the city and I want to make sure that the Indian voice is included at the policy-level. We need the representation here.
So I am here to ask if I could please get the help of the Indian community to make sure that I win. My opponent has been in the seat for 8 years so I need to fundraise money in order to defeat him. Please consider donating any amount to help win and give voice to the Indians in my city who deserve to be included.
